Alaska Education Network – Project ECHO is a statewide project hosted by the Anchorage School District and funded by the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development. This project provides virtual professional development sessions for principals and teacher-leaders throughout the state of Alaska with the intention of creating a support network to reduce rural isolation.

My tasks were primarily technical with an education and outreach focus:
- Web Design + Development
- Social Media Marketing
- Analytics + Reporting
- Public Relations + Outreach: Press Releases, Presentations, Professional Networking
- Training Session Facilitation
- Technical Support: Videoconferencing Software, Learning Management Systems
- Online Course Development
- Video + Audio Editing
Raquel has become an invaluable part of the ASD and ECHO team. Her optimism and “can-do” attitude is infectious. She has brought many ideas forward and is an exceptionally quick learner. She is a positive promoter of ECHO and possesses all the technical skills we need and has been largely a self-starter allowing leadership to focus on other things when needed.Dr. Mark Stock, Deputy Superintendent, Anchorage School District
My colleague and I launched this project from the ground up and were able to grow participation from educators statewide. We had the opportunity to travel to Utqiagvik and Sitka as well as attend and present at many education conferences throughout the state, where we made many valuable connections.
Raquel is creative, professional and skilled in her support role with the ECHO project. She is attentive to detail and has exceptional communication skills. She is upbeat and positive and brings a high level of confidence to the ECHO project.Dr. Mark Stock, Deputy SUperintendent, Anchorage School District
